Lift and Escalator Inspections & Consultancy

(Statutory Inspections, Condition and Health Assessments)

Annual and periodic inspection by our BCA-appointed Specialist Professional Engineers, with the plan submissions and PTO paperwork handled alongside.

  • PTO application and renewal submissions to BCA
  • Load, brake, safety gear and overspeed governor testing
  • Escalator step, handrail and comb-plate examination
  • Modernisation and replacement advisory, incident investigation

Our Specialist PEs sit on the BCA appointment list, so the engineer who examines the installation is the one who signs the PTO submission. No handover, no second opinion needed.

Pressure Vessel Inspection

(Statutory Inspections)

Statutory examination by MOM-approved Authorised Examiners, covering air receivers, boilers, steam drums and process vessels through registration and re-examination.

  • MOM registration and certificate of fitness renewal
  • Internal and external visual examination
  • Hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure testing
  • NDT: ultrasonic thickness, MPI and dye penetrant

We schedule examination around your shutdown window, because a vessel opened for inspection is a line that is not producing. NDT runs in the same visit rather than a return trip.

pressure vessel inspection

Lifting equipment inspection

(Statutory Inspections & Safety Certification)

Examination and load testing of cranes, hoists, lifting appliances and lifting gear under the Workplace Safety and Health regulations.

  • Tower, mobile and overhead crane examination
  • Proof load testing with certification
  • Slings, shackles, chain blocks and lifting gear registers
  • Structural and NDT assessment of load-bearing members

Lifting gear fails item by item, so we return your register marked up per serial number rather than as a single site pass. You know which shackle to withdraw.

Petroleum & Flammable Materials (P&FM) Storage Tank Inspection

(Regulatory Compliance & Fire Safety Assurance)

Inspection and integrity assessment of petroleum and flammable materials storage tanks, with the SCDF licensing submissions that go with them.

  • SCDF P&FM storage licence application and renewal
  • Shell, floor and roof integrity inspection
  • Bund, venting and overfill protection review
  • Ultrasonic thickness survey and corrosion mapping

Tank work stands or falls on the licence file. We prepare the SCDF submission from our own inspection findings, so what is certified and what is filed match.

Natural and Town Gas Pipings Inspection

(Gas Safety & Integrity Assessments)

Inspection, pressure testing and certification of town gas and LPG installations, from service risers to appliance connections.

  • Periodic inspection against EMA and gas supply requirements
  • Tightness and pressure testing with certification
  • Riser, meter set and appliance connection examination
  • Ventilation and gas detection review

Gas findings usually mean isolating a live supply. We inspect in occupied buildings with the tenant notice and shutdown sequence planned before we arrive.
